enc-code is a wrapper around your regular version control system (git
, svn
, mercurial
, etc.).
Currently, it only supports Git.
This command enables encryption and scrambling of repository files, commit messages, author info, and commit date-time. The code remains decrypted locally but is pushed in an encrypted state to the remote repository.
An enc repository organizes code into:
enc
command instead of git
. Users can optionally push this pure code to a trusted repository.Note: The enc
command requires a bash emulator to run on Windows (e.g., git-bash
). This is typically satisfied by having git
installed on Windows.
Note: The majority of Git commands are supported.
